Rivne region: near the main Christmas tree of the region, rescuers held a public event called "Celebrate safely" (ALBUM)
For the first n’five days of the New 2016 on the territory of Rivne region, there were 29 fires in which were found two dead citizens. Also, fires have caused considerable damage to the inhabitants of the province. Almost all the Christmas fires happened because of violations of citizens basic fire safety requirements. That is what the employees of the Main Department of Civil service on emergency situations of Rivne region decided to once again remind citizens the basic rules of fire safety and procedure in case of an emergency. So, 06 January in Rivne on Independence square, where is installed the main Christmas tree of the region, rescuers carried out a public campaign called “Celebrate safely”. During the day employees of service of rescue "101" talked to the citizens, telling them about the main hazards during the Christmas holidays and the rules of fire safety in the home. Adults rescuers passed out flyers with the rules of fire safety when using pyrotechnic products and holiday lighting. All citizens had the opportunity to learn the methods of fire extinguishing using powder and carbon dioxide fire extinguishers. Also the employees of the state Service for emergency situations reminded adults and children how to avoid hypothermia and not get in trouble on ice. For children, the rescuers have also prepared an interesting program. Boys and girls competed in race the ability to quickly put on combat clothing of the rescuer, shared their knowledge of the requirements of the safety and order of call fire and rescue service. All participants received a souvenir from the officers SSES souvenir instructive products. «For the rescuers during new year holidays – it is very tense and responsible time. At this time we strive to do everything possible to keep any one house, not a single family has come a fiery disaster.
