In Zhytomyr region during a fire in a residential building killed 63-year-old pensioner
9 January at 17:03 rescue Service "101" received a report of a fire in a brick residential building in S. Zabriddia Chernyakhovsky district. To the scene were immediately sent to guard rescuers the 23rd State fire and rescue unit. It was found that the source of fire is located in one of the residential rooms, on the bed. Also in the house there was considerable smoke. During the exploration inside the house, firefighters discovered the body of a man, who was lying on the bed without signs of life. As with’it turned out the dead man, 1952 PhD, was the owner of the apartment and lived alone. Forces of rescuers have prevented further spread of fire. The fire was extinguished at 20:00. The fire damaged the walls, ceiling, floor, and destroyed household belongings in the room. Just to eliminate the accident involved 4 personnel firefighters and 1 unit of equipment. The probable cause of the fire was Smoking in bed host. Now law enforcement bodies establish the final cause of the fire.
