Zhytomyr region: in the field getting ready for spring and summer field work

For conducting spring-summer field work in 2016 the region's farms prior to sowing conditions brought to 6.5 thousand tonnes (59%) of seeds of spring cereals, purchased of 25.0 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers in physical weight (21%) and 85.5 tonnes of plant protection products (14%), including 7.0 tonnes seed disinfectants (26%). According to the results of the survey available in all categories of farms of 138.5 thousand ha of winter crops sprouts obtained on the area of 138.5 thousand hectares (100%) of them are in good condition on the area of 73,7 hectares (53% of obtained shoots), in satisfactory – 56,1 thousand hectares (41%), 8.7 thousand hectares (6%) in weak and liquefied state.
