Vinnytsia: in the region introduced measures against the flu and ARVI
According to operational information of the Department of health regional administration, as 11.01.2016 year in treatment-and-prophylactic establishments of 323 adult patients hospitalized with pneumonia, including 47 with severe, 13 with pneumonia pregnant women and 70 children, including 5 with severe course. Due to the tense situation in the region with incidence of flu and SARS by the health Department of the regional state administration issued an order from 29.12.2015 ¹1535 "About carrying out of urgent measures on prevention of complications of viral respiratory infections, including flu." Considering the increased number of complications from the flu and SARS 04.01.2016 was held an extended meeting of the Department of health with leading experts, professors composition VNMU im. M. I. Pirogov, representatives of the Main Department of state sanitary and epidemiological service of Ukraine in Vinnytsia region. According to the results of that meeting were developed and distributed to medical institutions of area the recommended algorithms of medical care for adults, children and pregnant women, patients with a flu, ORVI and their complications. On this occasion 04.01.2016 held a meeting with heads of chemist's networks of the region: LLC "Firm "AVICENNA" PP "Conex", the regional municipal specialized pharmacy No. 1, SCE "Vinnytsia city pharmacy", which proposed to create a reserve of antiviral and antibacterial agents. At the meeting of the Commission on questions tekhnogenno-ecological safety and emergency situations of Vinnytsia regional state administration 05.01.2016, it was decided to continue the holidays in secondary schools for a period of 1 week to 18 January 2016. The chairmen of district state administrations, city chairmen of cities of regional importance assigned to ensure strict control of the work of the heads of the relevant services of enterprises, institutions, organizations, irrespective of forms of ownership, in the winter of 2016 conduct the necessary operations to maintain the proper air temperature in preschool and educational institutions, medical institutions, residential buildings and transport, and strengthened anti-epidemic regime with disinfection and compliance with mask mode on objects of mass stay of people. The health Department of the regional state administration 06.01.2016 year a meeting was held a teleconference with medical-prophylactic institutions of the region, which was focused on strict compliance with policy documents on prevention of complications of SARS and influenza, particularly among people from risk groups, pregnant women, children and the compliance with the protocols and algorithms of rendering of medical aid to patients with SARS, the flu and its complications. The Department of health introduced sodini monitoring of the situation regarding the incidence of influenza and pneumonia.
