Ended an amazing new year and Christmas holidays in Chernigov
Completed the cycle of new year and Christmas holidays in the city of Chernihiv, which lasted from 26 December 2015 to 14 January 2016. This year residents and guests of the city was presented the new format of the celebrations with lots of fun activities. The epicentre of the celebrations, was aesthetically decorated Christmas-Christmas village European-style ornate Christmas tree, children's rides and food from Chernihiv area's best restaurateurs. For several weeks, daily from 11 to 20 hours, for fans of leisure and all of Chernigov was also presented interesting cultural and artistic program with many interesting activities. In the open area was conducted concerts with participation of creative collectives and soloists of the city, district and region, master classes of hand-made, and with children and adults near the Christmas tree worked for animators, played with them in interesting outdoor games and led new year's dance. Everyone could ride ponies, horses or chaise, to be photographed near the Nativity scene, the "Didukh" and near the Main tree, wander through a maze of hay or make a snow sculpture. The highlight of the festive events were vivid festivals, including the city festival "new year's serpentine – 2016", the city festival of Nativity scenes "Colegue the whole family", festival "the GOAT" from OO "Che Studio" and festival "Generous evening" with an interesting folklore program, entertainment and contests. A pleasant surprise for the youngest visitors of the holiday camp and their parents have been watching the animated movies in the framework of the project "My country – Ukraine" public organization "Cultural Troopers". The main event was the opening of the Main tree of the city on the Central square with the participation of the leadership of the city and region with an interesting concert program. On this day took place the ceremony of awarding the winners of the contest for the best Christmas toy "Christmas tree Lights-2016", which was attended by students of secondary schools. A new year's eve concert the program you can enjoy immediately after midnight until three in the morning. Participation in a creative program of the Christmas village took the bands and artists, community organizations. Among them: the national Amateur choir "Kalina" and folk Amateur choir "Children of war" Palace of culture of artistic creativity of children, youth and young adults, the Greek-Catholic community of Chernigov, Chernihiv ceremonial group of the Department of the Ukrainian women's Union, Sunday school group of St. Catherine's Church, the Polish club. Chernigov, the teams of Chernihiv academic Ukrainian folk choir, academic song and dance ensemble "Siverski kleinody" Chernihiv regional Philharmonic center of festivals and concert programs, NGO "Cultural troopers", NGO "Your music", the group "voice of the soul", "Mayakovsky band", "top secret", "JamBubbleBand", the KVN team of the city of Chernigov, the soloists of the city Palace of culture, the staff of "Two colors" (p. levkovychi the Chernigov area), the participants of the festival "the GOAT". A varied children's entertainment programme was prepared by the Agency holidays "happiness Factory" and children's center "Indigo", and masters of decorative and applied arts held an interesting master-classes.
