16 January at 19:33 rescue Service "101" received a report of a fire in a brick residential building in the village Nitrc Berdichevsky district. To the specified address immediately I left one branch of the 9th state fire and rescue unit. It was found that the fire engulfed the two living rooms. According to neighbors, inside there were people. Rescuers in devices on the compressed air conducted exploration in the area. During which in one of the rooms found 54-year-old man. Firefighters carried him outside and called an ambulance. The victim was hospitalized in Berdychiv Central local hospital. Now the man is in the intensive care unit with the diagnosis: thermal burns of 1-2 degrees of the upper and lower extremities. Forces of rescuers the fire was localized at 19:56. At 21:40 – eliminated. The fire managed to destroy only the household stuff. Just to eliminate the accident involved 4 personnel firefighters and 1 unit of special fire and rescue equipment. According to preliminary information, the fire occurred because of careless handling of fire (Smoking while intoxicated). The final cause of the fire is established now by experts.
