The Prosecutor's office is taking all steps for the early adoption of the lawful decision in the proceedings concerning the illegal allocation of more than 1,000 land plots in the zone of possible flooding in Uzhgorod
as a Result of improper execution by the officials of the city Council of their official duties’property relations of Uzhgorod city Council had illegally disposed of land with a total area of almost 80 hectares of normative worth over 1 million. UAH., than the interests of the state in the face of the Uzhgorod city Council has suffered damages in this amount. As the head of Uzhgorod local Prosecutor's office Dmitry Kirilenko, currently our investigative and judicial leaders is taking all measures to ensure the adoption of lawful and reasonable decision in criminal proceedings. Recall that in the production of Uzhgorod police Department of GU Ministry of emergency in Transcarpathian region is the criminal proceedings launched in February 2014 on signs of the criminal offense provided by part 2 of article 367 of the criminal code of Ukraine (office negligence) in respect of officials of Uzhgorod city Council. Owing to inadequate execution assigned to them duties’links, the session of Uzhgorod city Council made the decision No. 1223 dated 04.09.2009, which approved the draft Detailed plan of residential area «Western" on the street. On the basis of this document the session of Uzhgorod city Council made the decision to transfer to ownership to citizens, that is, the disposal of communal property of city Council, 1107 land area «Western» with total area of nearly 80 hectares, earmarked "for individual housing construction", whereas the plots, according to the information of the Transcarpathian regional administration on melioration and water management, are located in zones of possible flooding spring flooding and according to the order of use of lands in zones of possible flooding due to flooding and flood approved by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, shall be used exclusively for agricultural purposes.
