Gschs of Ukraine reminds citizens of rules of actions at detection of suspicious and explosive devices
Dear citizens! State service of Ukraine for emergency situations appeals to you to be vigilant and always pam’to remember the basic rules of actions at detection of suspicious and explosive devices. In order to highlight explosive devices among all others, to remember’to remember their characteristic features: - items are unfamiliar or unusual for this situation or territory; - the presence of sounds that are heard from the subject (the ticking of the clock signals after a certain period of time), the flashing of indicator lamps; - availability of power supplies on the machine or next to it (batteries, battery, etc.); - the presence of stretching wires, or wires that stretch from the mechanism for long distance; - the item can be hung on the tree or left on the bench. Most explosives can be detected in places of mass stay of people. So, if you see a suspicious object on the street: -immediately call the rescue Service by phone 101 or the police Department by phone 102; -warn passers-by of possible dangers; -waiting for the arrival of rescuers, protect what is a dangerous place and step away from the findings at a safe distance (100 m). For fencing use any improvised materials: branches, ropes, pieces of cloth, stones and so forth. If you are in public transport and other crowded places must be especially careful to adhere to the following rules: -pay attention to abandoned bags, briefcases, parcels or other objects that may be hidden improvised explosive devices; -in case of detection of the suspicious object, immediately call buttons driver, intercom, or other method will report the find to the driver or law enforcement officers; -do not open those packages or bags, do not touch them and notify the people around about possible dangers. It is strictly forbidden: - touch the object and move it; - to use funds of Rados’communication, mobile phones (they can trigger an explosion); - to fill its fluids, fill with soil or some other cover; touch suspicious device and make it sound, light, heat or mechanical impact, because almost all explosives and poisonous sensitive to mechanical, sound and heat effects. If the troubles could not be circumvented and there was an explosion, it is important not to lose control and not to panic: -try to calm down and clarify the situation; -in any case do not use open flames; -from the destroyed area should be done gently, without touching the damaged structures and wires; -during fumigation mandatory’sure to protect respiratory organs soaked handkerchief, a piece of cloth or towel; -and you have the necessary knowledge and skills to provide pre-medical aid; -wait for the arrival of representatives of the emergency services and later act on their instructions; -if the explosion occurred in a public transport, you need first of all to fulfill all the driver's commands or commands that are declared remote. Pam’remember! One of the main causes of accidents, it’associated with explosive devices-gross violation of elementary safety rules. Defuse an explosive device or explosion can only localize trained professionals after the withdrawal of people from the danger zone.
