In 2015, taxpayers in Lutsk city and Lutsk region paid to the state budget of 68.1 million UAH of the military tax. Only in December of last year the amount was 8.2 million. About this informed the head of Lutsk LIGHTS of the Main Directorate IPS in the Volyn region Svetlana Savchuk. "Given the urgency of the purpose of this payment, it should be noted that Lutsk team and are responsible to the calculation and payment of the military tax," stressed the official. Recall that the military tax in Ukraine was entered on August 3, 2014. The rate of tax is 1.5% of the tax object. Its payers are individuals – residents and non-residents who receive income in Ukraine. Responsible for withholding (accrual) and payment (transfer) of military tax to the budget are employers that pay income in the form of wages in favour of the taxpayer and tax agents — for taxable income from originating in Ukraine.
