Within the innovative medical curriculum aimed at reducing maternal mortality in Ukraine, 27 January in Zhytomyr for obstetrician-gynecologists and anesthesiologists region was held a scientific-practical conference "Multidisciplinary approach in the prevention and control of postpartum hemorrhage". With a salutatory word to participants addressed the donor of the project, the representative of MSD in Ukraine Galina Ivankova, President of all-Ukrainian charitable organization "j-es.AI-Ukraine" Tamara and Irina's Director of this company Konstantin Podshivalov. They, in particular, noted that the innovative medical curriculum aimed at reducing maternal mortality in Ukraine, successfully operating in the Zhytomyr region since 2014. It was then in the regional perinatal center began simulating training center equipped with a maternity mannequin simulator and related equipment for presentations. The head of the Department of health regional state administration Alexander Turbas thanked the organizers for their support, constructive cooperation and assured them that the region will continue to be the flagship of introduction of advanced technologies. Addressing the participants, chief physician, regional perinatal center Yuri Weisberg noted that for the duration of this project based on simulating-training center has trained more than 300 medical specialists in the field and were 6 trainers. According to Yuri Ruvimovich, to stop postpartum hemorrhage involves a large group of medical professionals, so it's important while learning to organize their teamwork. "Post-Natal bleeding, – says Yuri Weisberg, – is the main cause of maternal mortality in our country. This issue is also relevant for the region enrolled: average statistics by region shows that for every 1,000 births account for about 23 cases of postpartum hemorrhage".
