Chernivtsi: members of the city Council took the initiative of awarding the Ivan Mykolaychuk, the title of “Hero of Ukraine” (posthumously)
members of the city Council at a regular meeting had decided to contact the Chairman of the Chernivtsi regional state administration and Chairman of the Chernivtsi regional Council with the application for awarding of Ivan Mykolaychuk, the honorary title of “Hero of Ukraine” (posthumously). Ivan Vasylyovych Mykolaychuk – the world-famous Ukrainian actor, film Director, scriptwriter, laureate of the Shevchenko prize, 1988 (awarded posthumously) for the establishment of a national diverse images in films “Dream” (in the role of Taras Shevchenko), “Shadows of forgotten ancestors”, “Anna”, “Weed”, “White bird with black mark”, “Lost letter”, “Babylon XX”, “This late, warm fall”, “Commissioners”.
