In the summer of 2013 on top of the mountain PIP Ivan, the head of Department DSNS in the field of the Colonel of service of civil protection Vladimir Chernetsky and the rector of Precarpathian national University. On the issues of maintenance and organization of the work of mountain rescue post in the old Observatory on mount PIP Ivan is engaged in the head group of the organization of emergency response emergency rescue squad of special purpose Control DSNS in the field of Taras Brinda. Now, summing up her six-month experience, Taras Brinda says that the best here is the stay of a group of four lifeguards on duty for a duration of seven days. Constant presence of rescuers at such a height of absolute justified, because the range is very crowded place, and through him, are favorite routes for many tourists not only from Ukraine but also from abroad. In the summer on these routes goes up to 200 people in one day, in the winter there are fewer tourists, but also they can be found here almost daily. Because extreme freezing temperatures, the winds, almost constant cloudiness, when at a distance of ten meters, can see nothing, more than compensated for by the magnificent mountain scenery for hundreds of miles around, which have always attracted tourists. But the mountains, despite her beauty, is capricious and unpredictable – weather conditions change very quickly, just the sun was shining, but here for the moment – cloud, rain or snow, someone sprained foot, someone grabbed the heart from physical exertion or rarefied air, tired children – and continuing the route impossible. Therefore he often had to give this tour a temporary shelter in the house – to heat, to drink tea, to listen and to reassure, and guide in the right direction or to go in search of tourists who made a mistake and went the wrong path. Recalls the days from 31 December to 2 January this year, when the spine is held up to 150 people a day, many of them in fact, and he waited out the storm. Of course, so many people now that are not yet fully equipped room, and brings some inconvenience, but it's only temporary, besides, in such cases, Taras becomes in case his previous position – senior psychologist at the centre for the psychological support of SSES in the area. And Taras began his service in 2001, a firefighter DPRC -4 with protection JSC «lucor» 2005 – three years worked as a psychologist since 2008 – the commander of the guard PRNG-6 m. Kalush – that is, having worked in a variety of areas, Taras Brinda can confidently say that he has found his calling in the Carpathians.
