In Zhytomyr lasts supplementary immunization against polio
Polio is a highly contagious disease caused by the polio virus that invades the nervous system and can cause paralysis or even death. The virus usually infects children who are not vaccinated or have not received all doses of vaccine. In some cases it can affect teenagers and adults who have not received vaccinations. 25 January in Ukraine began the third round of polio immunization for all children aged 2 months to 10 years. Head of Department of mobilization work and special issues of the Department of health regional state administration Sergey Berezovsky reported that the Zhytomyr region is fully provided with the necessary vaccines. During the third round of the Zhytomyr region it is planned to vaccinate vaccine OPV 131815 children.
