the Day of honoring the combatants in territories of other States will be celebrated in the region. In particular, it is planned to hold a meeting of the Chairman of regional state administration, chairmen of district state administrations with activists of regional and district organizations of the Ukrainian Union of veterans of Afghanistan and participants of battle actions on territory of other States. In educational institutions and military units of the region will hold a thematic educational hours, lectures with stories about the combatants on the territory of other States and the Afghan war. On 15 February will take place the meeting - Requiem and laying flowers to the monument in the Park of National revival in Ternopil and in all areas of the field, where is erected a monument to fallen combatants in Afghanistan. Also visit youth constant-working exhibition "War in Afghanistan" in Ternopil regional Museum of local lore, Museum room about the history of the Afghan war in Ternopil technical Lyceum and the Museum of Hero of the Soviet Union Y. P. Goroshko in the village borsika. In addition, the Chairman of regional state administration, Stepan Barna instructed the relevant departments of the state administration to create the conditions for improving social and health services of invalids and participants of military actions, to pay special attention to those in hospitals, nursing homes and inpatient departments of territorial centres, to arrange a visit.
