In Vinnytsia oblast for the last day registered 1,700 cases of influenza and ARVI (photo)
This information as at 09.02.16, provides the health Department of the Vinnytsia regional state administration. In particular, it is reported that according to the Ukrainian center for the control and monitoring of diseases of Moz of Ukraine, in Vinnytsia oblast for the last day registered 1,700 cases of influenza and SARS, of which 949 children. 96 hospitalized people, 60 of whom were children. According to operational data of the Center of influenza and SARS SI "Ukrainian centre for control and monitoring of diseases of Moz of Ukraine", since the beginning of epidemic season (28.09.2015 – 07.02.2016 years) registered in Ukraine, 3.5 million patients with influenza and SARS, chickenpox, or 8.9% of the population. On the fifth week of 2016 into 15 areas, the incidence of influenza and ARI exceeded the epidemic thresholds, from them 4 – more than 50.0%. In other regions of the country epidemic thresholds are in the range from zero to threshold in Poltava -49,0% in Kharkiv region. Since the beginning of epidemic season according to registered 246 laboratory-confirmed deaths from the flu, including 3 children under the age of 17 years. The greatest number of deaths in the Odessa region – 40 cases m Kiev – 29, Kharkiv – 15, Cherkasy and Rivne oblasts to 14. For medical care timely appealed only the third part of the dead. The analysis of deaths showed that all the dead had no vaccinations against influenza. Since the beginning of the epidemic season, according to operative data, have been vaccinated against flu 665 125 people, representing 0.32% of total population, of which children under 17 years – 21 %. Vaccination was performed mainly at the expense of local budgets. As 08.02.2016 in some regions introduced restrictive anti-epidemic activities or stopped training almost 4 thousand children's learning, educational and extracurricular institutions.
