chaired by the head of Odesa local Prosecutor's office Gregory Nizhnik held a joint meeting of heads of law enforcement agencies Goshchansky, Zdolbunov, Koretsky, Kostopil, Ostrog areas. The event was also attended by the prosecutors of Rivne region, heads of PG departments of the National police in the Rivne oblast, first Deputy and Deputy head of Odesa local prosecutors, chiefs of departments of the respective Prosecutor's office. The main purpose of the event was to discuss the status of combating crime by results of work last year and identify issues and priorities in the activity of law enforcement bodies of the region for the next period. The event discussed the results of the fight against crime and corruption counteraction on the territory of aforementioned districts, as well as it was able to identify crimes in the areas of economy, land relations and budget, the level of protection of the constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens and interests of the state, combating drug-related crime. The leadership of the local Prosecutor's office specified law enforcement agencies on some negative trends in the structure of crime and the effectiveness of the fight against crime and corruption, which require immediate response. The meeting discussed and adopted measures for the first half of 2016, which aims to improve the state of legality in the area.
