The head of the region noted that large families can always count on the support of regional state administration and district state administrations. The region is inhabited by more than 12 thousand large families, which brought more than 35 thousand children. The honorary title is given the Honorary title "Mother-heroine" in accordance with the regulations on honorary titles of Ukraine, the approved presidential decree of Ukraine from 29.06.2001 No. 76/2001, is assigned to women who gave birth to and raised until the age of eight five and more children, given the considerable personal contribution to the education of children in the family, creating favorable conditions for children education, development of their creative abilities, formation of high spiritual and moral qualities. From 2007 to 2013, over 6,300 women who gave birth to and raised 5 children, was awarded the honorary title of Ukraine "Mother – heroine". In 2014, 73 in 2015 – 81 women of our region have been awarded this title. All women were paid a lump sum remuneration in the amount of 10 living wages. This year the sum is 12 800 UAH.
