In opening the session, head of the Vinnytsia oblast expressed gratitude to the business executives in the region for their understanding and cooperation during the past year. The head of the region noted that the year 2015 has been difficult for farmers and showed the possible future problems, but because we're talking about the need to practice joint actions on further development of the industry. "The depreciation of the national currency has hit import content, has seen an increase of expenditure. But on the other hand, the devaluation has created opportunities for more competitive position of our products in foreign markets, - said the Chairman of regional state administration. – Drought, which affected a significant part of Vinnytsia region, affected not only southern, but Northern hit. And if we expect the gross grain harvest within 5 million tons, we actually have 3.8 million tons. This again prompts us to ponder in which direction to develop further, how to build a strategy for the development of these territories. And I think it should give us the help of science and should directly involve representatives of agrarian business". However, said Valery Cow, Vinnytsia region has the best results from the point of view of gross production and, despite the reduction in headcount, quite good dynamics in the livestock industry. "We are trying to stimulate milk production in private farms has even developed a separate program, allocated from the regional budget funds to improve the quality of milk produced in small farms. I believe that there is potential there", - said the head of the region. The head of the Vinnytsia region also drew attention to the novelties in the Tax code that relate to activities of agricultural enterprises, implementation of on-site agricultural receipts as a powerful tool of agribusiness lending and the urgent need of regaining the confidence of business executives in the region in the cultivation of sugar beet. At the same time, Valery Cow said on a principled position of non-interference of government in the process of doing business. "We need to do everything to ensure that the agricultural business has improved its performance, and should not interfere with the businesses to upgrade their own production, - said the head of RSA. - The government must provide services in a timely manner to register the lease agreements, to resolve issues related to execution of decisions, land-related issues. We strongly departed from the practice of coercion for redistribution of land shares. And this principled position". During the meeting, the Director of the Department of agricultural development of regional state administration Mykola Neily summed up the results of work of enterprises of agroindustrial complex of the region for 2015.
