Volyn region: rescuers teach people the rules of safety in the home
16-17 February the Lutsk city Department rescuers Management SSES of Ukraine in the Volyn region, the staff of the 1st and the 2nd State fire and rescue unit conducted a preventive RAID on the territory of Lutsk city and district to prevent fires in the home and combating fires in natural ecosystems. Rescuers met with management and staff of housing and communal enterprises No. 11 and No. 8, which serve an apartment house, informed them, what is the current situation with the fires in the city, their causes and consequences. Employees of gschs stressed that the prevention of fires and tragic accidents on them is possible only in conditions of strict control by the administration and the employees and utilities for fire safety in blocks of flats and conscious compliance by the tenants of houses. Communicating directly with the tenants, rescuers recalled the basic rules of fire safety: urged not to smoke in the stairwells and do not throw cigarette butts from the balconies, not to overload the dryer as household waste, and also to adhere to the requirements of gas and electrical safety. The janitors and maintenance staff houses employees of gschs recalled the priority actions in case of detection of fire and other emergency situations. In the course of preventive RAID they made household rounds of private houses and reminded them about the prohibition of burning dry vegetation on adjoining areas, called on to pay maximum attention to the observation of fire safety rules during heating operation of furnaces and electrical equipment. During the course of the rescue distributed among the population leaflets with fire safety rules and actions in case of emergencies.
