Zhytomyr region 4 by the agricultural production
For January 2016 by all categories of farms produced a gross output of agriculture at constant 2010 prices totaling 243,8 million, which more than 5.0 million USD compared to the same period last year. Including products produced by agricultural enterprises amounted to 39.5 mln that is by UAH 4.2 million more households 204,3 million, which is 0.8 million more than the. The index of agricultural production amounted to 102.1%. For agricultural enterprises – 111,8%, in households – 100,4%. For this indicator, the region is in 4th place among the regions of the state. As of 01.02.2016 year in all categories of farms of the region were kept of the cattle – 170,6 thousand heads, 17.2 thousand (9,2%) less than last year, including cows 111,7 thousand (7.4 thousand (6.2 per cent) is less), pigs – of 161.4 thousand heads (by 1.7 thousand (1,1%)), poultry – thou heads 6359,6, (383,1 thousand (6,4%) more). In January of 2016 in the rating indicators for the number of livestock of cattle the area is on the 9th place among the regions of the state (including the number of cows is on the 6th place); birds at the 10th place. All categories of farms sold for slaughter of livestock and poultry in live weight 12,0 thousand tons, exceeding the figure for 2015 by 0.5 thousand tons (4,3%) – 7th place in Ukraine.
