In Zhytomyr there was held a public discussion regarding woodworking enterprises
16 February 2016 in Zhytomyr held a public discussion of the situation with raw material supplies woodworking enterprises of the region and the definition of the operator of the auctions on sale of raw wood among commodity exchanges Zhytomyr region. The event, which was initiated by the all-Ukrainian Association of woodworking companies, took ucastnici of the Department of economic development, trade and international cooperation of the regional state administration Alexey Shatilo and representatives of the woodworking industry and forestry area. "the forest industry for the economy of the region is extremely important and one of the leading in providing jobs, wages, pay taxes and duties to budgets of all levels. The task of government is to create a comfortable, transparent environment for enterprises in this sphere", – said Alexey Shatilo. The draft regulation on the sale of raw timber, published on the website of the State forest resources Agency of Ukraine, and the definition of the operator of the auctions on sale of raw wood among commodity exchanges Zhytomyr region – the main issues that were discussed by the participants of the meeting. The innovations proposed for public review of the draft regulation are: * abolish the practice of realization of raw wood by direct contracts; * all raw wood, which is provided for the implementation must go through the procedure of the auction; * conducting the auction in two sessions for business entities that are engaged in wood processing; * the electronic bidding and the like. In public discussion it was decided to continue work on the addition of the draft regulation on the sale of raw wood, which is available for public inspection on the website of the State Agency of forest resources of Ukraine.
