1 March, chaired by the head of gschs of Ukraine Mykola Chechetkina hardware held a meeting with heads of structural and territorial units of the Service. During the meeting they discussed the main issues of emergency response and incident throughout the Ukraine during the second half of February 2016. “Since the beginning of the year decreased the number of deaths of people in fires. And this testifies to improvement of a state of emergency”, - said the Chairman of state emergency service of Ukraine Mykola Chechetkin. During the event also defined priority objectives for the current week, among which is the performance of tasks in zone of anti-terrorist operations and the preparedness of forces of the garrisons of the Service to respond to emergencies in case they arise. In particular, the head of the Service Mykola Chechetkin drew the attention of heads of regional divisions to carry out activities to improve operational readiness and respond to emergencies during week days from 5 to 8 March.
