According to the Deputy Director of the Department of education and science of Ternopil regional state administration Vladimir Tchaikovsky, financing 17 institutions of vocational education in 2016 from the regional budget allocated 47.2 million hryvnias. "Now the Department has created a working group, which is engaged in the financing of vocational education institutions, - noted Vladimir Tchaikovsky. – We plan to recruit private entrepreneurs, representatives of agricultural holdings, to settle the matter. Work is underway to transfer these institutions to the local budgets, but also to fully provide for them". Background: In 2015, the professional education institutions of the region released 4152 skilled workers, 146 ind. (4%) less than in 2014 and 795 OS. (17%) less than in 2013, 4050 graduates received their diplomas, of whom 365 (9%) - diplomas with distinction and 85% qualified for two or more professions.
