The head of Department of agroindustrial development of the Zhytomyr regional state administration discussed with the First Deputy Minister of the problems of the region, in particular, on changes in the legislation regarding the special tax regime in agriculture, the non-payment of accounts receivable for government programs of support of agricultural commodity producers for 2012-2014 and issues insufficient funds for the spring field works. Ruslan kyryliuk said that according to calculations of the need for funds for the realization of spring field works is 2.9 billion USD. While in 2015, the complex of spring field work spent 2.4 billion UAH. "The main sources of financing are own funds of agricultural enterprises – UAH 2.4 bn. The rest of 509,7 million (18%) – will be covered due to loans of commercial banks. As of 10 March 2016 by business entities of agro-industrial complex and acquired material resources for the complex of spring field works in the amount of 869,8 million UAH", – explained Ruslan kyryliuk. He said that in 2016 in the Zhytomyr region is projected to sow spring cereals and legumes on the area of 246,6 thousand hectares. "including oats is 22.7 thousand ha (+0.3 thousand ha up to 2015), spring wheat – 12.9 thousand ha (+0,1 thousand ha by 2015), barley – 25.9 thousand ha (+0.4 thousand ha up to 2015), maize for grain – 168.8 thousand hectares (+16,9 thousand ha by 2015), buckwheat is 6.4 thousand hectares (+0,1 thousand ha up to 2015), millet – 2,9 thousand hectares (-0,1 thousand ha up to 2015)", – said the head of Department.
