Rescuers urge residents to be careful in dealing with fire
In Chernivtsi as 21.03.2016 a 46 fires against 60 fires for the same period in 2015, have informed in Chernivtsi city Department UDSNS. In particular, in the Shevchenko district occurred on 19 fires for 2016 28 against fires for the same period in 2015 In Pervomaisk the area – 21 the fire for 2016 against 20 fires for the same period In 2015 Sadgorskiy area – 6 fires for 2016 compared to 12 fires for the same period in 2015. As a result of fires in Chernivtsi 1 person died. It should be remembered that the most common causes of fires are: – the violation of the rules of operation of electrical installations – violation of fire regulations in the operation of furnaces – careless handling of fire – arson – the antics of children with fire – spontaneous combustion of objects and materials So, from the beginning of 2016 on the territory of Ukraine on the fire killed 13 children. In the past year in Ukraine as a result of fires killed 60 children. Usually the most tragic accidents occur when children are left without adult supervision. This week most students start spring break and mostly they will be home alone. Therefore, Chernivtsi rescuers SSES of Ukraine appeal to parents with a request to care for the safety of their children. Keep matches and lighters out of the reach of kids places, tell them about the dangers posed by fire! Cultivate within them the skills of safe behaviour, demonstrating by example the careful handling of fire, gas, and the like. Take a few minutes to talk with children about the basic rules of safety while staying at home.
