Migrants in Zhytomyr region received 5 million UAH on the development of business
23 March in Zhytomyr held a monitoring meeting on the implementation of the project "Stabilization support to IDPs and local communities in the development of micro-enterprises in the Zhytomyr region". The event was the community Foundation of Zhitomir. The meeting of experts of mission of International organization for migration in Ukraine, foreign experts from DFID, adviser to the Minister of social policy on internally displaced persons Maxim Svirsky and Deputy Director of the Zhytomyr regional employment center Viktor Zubritsky. The Chairman of the Board of the community Foundation of Zhitomir Zhanna Solovyeva told about that program, which operates in the Zhytomyr region, helping internally displaced persons from the occupied territories become independent and to start or expand their business on the territory of Zhytomyr region. Already 135 people received such assistance. Among them, 76 people in the direction of "self-Employment" and 59 in the direction of "Micro-business" (for registered business entities). In General, participants of the project, equipment was purchased for the sum about 5 million UAH.
