In the Transcarpathian region, the rescuers teach children the rules of life safety
No accident one of the most important areas in the spectrum of activity of operative-rescue service of Transcarpathia mass preventive work among the population to disseminate knowledge of health and safety. Special emphasis is placed on preventive activities among the younger generation. Rescuers are convinced that the holding of rose’explanatory work among the children in the future will reduce the number of injuries and deaths of minors during the emergence of various kinds of emergencies or fires, and will help to form a culture of safe behavior. So, March 28, in the framework of the Berezniki mining village, Svaliava district, rescuers of the regional Department SSES pay a visit to local preschool institution. About 70 preschool children had the opportunity to review the rules of safe behavior during the stay in the home and on the street. Rescuers also told the children about the main causes of fires, possible consequences of pranks with matches, lighters and other dangerous items and substances. Kindergarten students had the opportunity in practice to see how to properly use a fire extinguisher. Communicating with children, rescuers were pleasantly surprised by their knowledge about how to behave during fires and other emergencies, for example, the rules of the recreation on the reservoirs, while walking in the forest, suspicious objects, and the like. Also all without exception knew to call the fire and rescue service have a phone number "101".
