Lutsk: the deputies adopted the decision to ban concerts on the territory of the city representatives of show business,which are the Russian Federation
the Deputies gathered at a plenary meeting of the fifth session of the city Council. Elected representatives of the community, forming the agenda, adopted resolutions banning holding of concerts and other entertainment events on the territory of the city representatives of show business who carry out their business activities, concerts, tours, and participate in various other activities on the territory of the Russian Federation during the Russian-Ukrainian war. The Chairman of the faction VO "Freedom" Nicholas fedyk in his speech argued the necessity of this decision. According to him, in the circumstances of Russian-Ukrainian war, a part of the Ukrainian show-business took the Pro position and will continue to do business together with the country-occupier. They take an active part in the celebration of the Russian Imperial dates, promote Russian Imperial horizons and contribute to the Russification of the Ukrainian information space. To earn money in a country that is waging war against the Ukrainian people, to entertain the citizens and military of the state, which has occupied part of Ukrainian territory, killing Ukrainians is unacceptable. Such immoral stand of the representatives of show business provoking the just indignation among Ukrainian citizens. After all, show business is a profession, which actively influences the formation of social consciousness of the population, defines values and preferences. As a result of such events and speeches there is a risk of unrest, civil resistance, physical abuse, and violations of public order. Therefore, this decision avoids the risk of public opposition, violations of public order and ensure the principle of fairness.
