For the first years of independence the Consul General of the USA visited the Zhytomyr region
30 March meeting of the management of regional state administration, regional Council and the city with a delegation of the Embassy of the United States of America headed by the General Consul Mr. William Bistransky. William Bistransky noted that this is the first official visit of the U.S. delegation to the Zhytomyr region. The Governor told the guests from America about the prospects for the development of infrastructure of Zhytomyr region, one of the important areas as agriculture, particularly the cultivation of berries in the Northern areas.
