In the Transcarpathian region Rakhiv rescuers together with foresters raided the Carpathian biosphere reserve
29 March Rakhiv rescuers together with employees of the Carpathian biosphere reserve and head of sector for civil protection of the district administration raided the forest that belongs to the above reserve. The participants visited the forest and conducted a survey of hazardous trees that grow along fire roads and forest and Hiking trails. Thus they identified the trees that in the near future will have to be cut down. All in the name of emergency plantings fell on the road and not obstruct the passage of vehicles, in particular to the place of occurrence of fire and threatening the lives of tourists. In addition, in connection’connection with loved ones the onset of the summer fire season the rescuers organized preventive discussion with the employees of the Carpathian biosphere reserve. The Rangers have distributed leaflets on prevention of fires in the ecosystems that they will continue to spread among the tourists. Also the employees of the reserve will convey to visitors the message from the rescuers on the rules of conduct in forest areas.
