Chernivtsi region: to prevent fires in ecosystems rescuers are working with people
the Staff of the office DSNS Ukraine in Chernivtsi region are constantly carrying out prevention activities aimed at teaching area residents the safety rules. So, on March 29 information and rose’annually the work was carried out in Glebocka and Kelmenetsky areas. Specialists of Glybochko district sector Department gschs held an information session on the premises of Glybochko regional employment Center. The meeting was attended by employees of the institution and ordinary people. The exercise was conducted on the theme «How to avoid fires in ecosystems?", "the rules of fire safety in open areas" that is not accidental, because in recent years in Chernivtsi region there were cases of fires due to the ignition of a dry grass. Rescuers addressed the audience told them that most of these fires cause the people themselves, spreading fires or throwing a cigarette butt or a match in the grass. “the Wind contributes to the rapid spread of fire and within minutes the flames’I can cover a vast area and to spiral out of control” – said the lifeguard. Finally, all participants were presented with pam’leaflets and leaflets with safety rules. In turn, the specialists of Kelmenetsky district sector of the SSES spent roses’explanatory work with the younger generation. Rescuers visited preschool institution and comprehensive school in the village Perkivtsyah Kelmenetsky district. Children are reminded about the dangers of playing with matches., spoke about the dangers of a campfire in the open air, as the fire for a few minutes can propagate to a large area. Employees Management DSNS conducted for the children by quiz, during which preschoolers and students answered questions and solved riddles on their own security.
