In Lutsk the soldiers-internationalists received pam'commemorative medals “25 years of withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan”
In the conference room of the city Council were awarded commemorative medals “25 years since troop withdrawal from Afghanistan” seven combatants on the territory of the Republic of Afghanistan during the period 1979-1989 and disabled veterans among them. The celebration was attended by mayor Mykola Romaniuk, Deputy mayor Sergei Grigorenko. Mykola Romaniuk presented awards from the President of Ukraine and expressed to soldiers-internationalists gratitude for the bravery in the Afghan war. “Never forget your heroism and your experiences. You are an example of what should be real men, ” - the mayor told and encouraged to honor those who died in the war a minute of silence.
