Chernivtsi region: over the past 3 days rescuers liquidated 5 fires due to the ignition of a dry grass
For the last 3 days in the Chernivtsi region there was 5 fires due to the ignition of a dry grass. So, on April 1 in the village of Novoselytsia district Ginovci caught fire of dry grass. Through the strong wind the fire’I in a short period of time spread over a significant area. Near the ignition point of dry grass was a holiday home, which could spill over fire. Another guard State fire and rescue unit number 11 of Novoselytsia city and the local fire brigade of the village Dunavtsi eliminated the fire, preventing further spread of flame’I. Because of this the destruction was saved holiday home. The fire led to careless handling of fire by unidentified person. On 3 April in Chernivtsi on the street Berezovskaya caught fire of dry grass in an open area where the fire spread to nearby commercial buildings. Fire State fire and rescue unit number 1 regional center, which left on a scene, liquidated a fire. The fire destroyed outbuildings, household items, dry grass. Just this year in the region occurred on 21 fire due to the ignition of a dry grass. Last year there were 132 such fires, one of which killed a man. Management DSNS Ukraine in Chernivtsi region appeals to citizens: do not burn dry grass, be careful when breeding and the use of open flames! Pam’remember that fire of dry grass may occur because of a carelessly thrown match or cigarette butt, and within minutes the fire can spread to a large area! Do not burn the grass, putting things in order in their home gardens. Fire can spiral out of control and spread to nearby buildings. Follow the safety rules!
