In Zhitomir remember the past and discuss the present of the Chernobyl tragedy.
On 4 April, in the hall of the Zhytomyr oblast universal scientific library. A. Olzhych was the opening of the thematic exhibition of photographs "memory Bells of Chernobyl". The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Yaroslav Laguta and first Deputy Chairman of the regional Council Volodymyr Screen. Photo exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster and was organized by the Zhytomyr city organization "Chernobyl Union of Ukraine". Yaroslav Laguta thanked everyone who took part in liquidation of the Chernobyl accident and noted: "the people should know the whole country. It's nice that they are at the forefront of social activity. In April, we plan even more events for the anniversary of the Chernobyl tragedy. And it is this exhibition at the initiative of our heroes begins a galaxy of such events". To see the photo exhibition will be until April 15. It includes several sections, which include: 1. The heroic actions of firefighters. 2. Preventing the spread of the accident at the nuclear power station staff the station. 3. Evacuated from city of Pripyat and Yanov station.
