The Prosecutor's office reported about suspicion to the head of one of the police Vinnytsia oblast for illegal acquisition and storage of ammunition
Investigative Department of Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region yesterday (04.04.2016) started pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings on the fact of illegal storage and acquisition of the head of one of departments of police of the Main Directorate of the National police in the Vinnitsa region of the ammunition, without provided for by law the permission and on the same day, the last reported suspected of committing criminal offenses under part 1 of article 263 UK of Ukraine (illegal weapon handling, fighting supplies or explosives). So, the chief of police contrary to the procedure stipulated by law but it is unclear how purchased and kept at the place of registration and residence ammunition. During the search, permission for which is granted by the investigating judge of the municipal court of Vinnytsia, Vinnytsia oblast, 23.03.2016 at the place of registration or residence of the suspect, among other things, discovered and seized ammunition, which, according to the conclusion of the forensic ballistic examination are not fighting supplies of 7.62 mm. Currently in production of the investigative actions are carried out. In Vinnitsa city court introduced a petition for election to the suspect of a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest and his removal from office. The punishment for specified criminal offence involving deprivation of liberty for a term of three to seven years.
