Representatives of the delegation of Iasi County of Romania visited the new premises of the Vinnytsia city center of social-psychological rehabilitation of children and youth with functional limitations "Harmony", which is completely adapted for people with special needs. Municipal center "Harmony" was established 9 years ago. The school day of children and youth with functional limitations. The center serves up to 40 people. Services are provided to children and youth with functional limitations from 7 to 35 years. In the former room was not enough rooms and places for individual work with visitors. The center could not fully meet the needs of the population of the city of Moscow in rehabilitation services. In addition, over the past two years increased the number of young people who received disability due to military actions in the East and could be potential customers. In 2012 we chose the room on the street. Vinnichenko, 5 with an area of almost 800 m2. Next 2013 began its reconstruction, which was completed at the end of last year. In the first months of 2016 saw the completion of the equipment of the new premises with all necessary equipment and furniture. The total project cost is 8 million UAH, of which 5.5 million are funds from the state budget. Guests from Romania were impressed by the many projects and programmes implemented by the centre "Harmony". During the visit to the institution Director of the center, Raisa Panasyuk, conducted a tour on its premises. Romanian partners visited different purpose rooms for individual and group work with clients, including training for work on the computer for training, group work, individual psychological support and improving self-help skills of people in a wheelchair. Members of the delegation learned about work of shop of souvenir products, in which are presented the services that could be provided by artists with disabilities, and called for "Cafe" with adapted kitchen for hosting cooking classes and teaching people wheelchair skills of homemaking, self-care, independent living. While visiting halls with gym minsporta halls and got acquainted with the peculiarities of using modern equipment for physical rehabilitation of children and youth in wheelchairs.
