7 April near S. maps of kostylivka in Rakhiv district on the territory of the Carpathian biosphere reserve there were two fires at intervals of a few hours. The first message was received to the emergency services at 13:25. The fire engulfed the dead wood on the area of 0,8 ha. half Of which belongs to the territory of the reserve, and the rest – Kostylivka village Council. The fire managed to eliminate without the participation of professional firefighters – to fight with fire was joined by 10 employees of GP ’s Rakhiv forestry experimental farm" and the local population. And a few hours later, at 16:04, in operative-rescue service received a call about another fire near S. maps of kostylivka on the territory of the Carpathian biosphere reserve. And there was a fire on the spot, and the day before, on 6 April. The fire fighters quickly arrived 3rd state fire and rescue unit, assisted by the foresters of the reserve and local residents. Just in extinguishing the fire was attended by 27 people. Together, they 17:40 the fire was localized, and at 18:00 fully liquidated.
