In Zhitomir honored the memory of victims of the Nazi camps.
The International day of liberation of prisoners of Nazi concentration camps in Zhitomir on April 11, held a rally and laying flowers to the monument and the memorial complex. The event was attended by representatives of the authorities, the public, veterans and students. Also at the event were present the last prisoner of the concentration camp Majdanek, Zhytomyr real legend, Franz Karlovich Brzezicki, which informed the participants that this sign in memory of our compatriots who were tortured in Nazi camps during the Second world war, was built 26 years ago. Then were alive more than 40 former prisoners, now there was only it one.
