In the Zhytomyr region responsible for the burning of dry grass
From the beginning of 2016 in the region occurred about 50 fires associated with ignition of a dry grass. Besides the threat to human health, the burning of leaves and grass leads to such environmental damage as the destruction of the soil, because they burn the plant residues, soil microorganisms are killed. Similarly, there is a threat of forest fires and fire houses. Better to take out grass and debris to disposal sites or to landfills for garbage. In addition, according to article 82 of the code of Ukraine on administrative offences, violation of the requirements regarding the handling of waste during collection, transportation, storage, processing, recycling, neutralisation, removal or disposal – entails a fine on citizens from twenty to eighty non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens and officials, citizens – business entities – from fifty to hundred free minima of the income of citizens. For unauthorized burning of dry vegetation or its remnants, Ukrainian legislation provides for administrative responsibility – a fine for citizens from 10 to 20 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens, on officials-from 50 to 70 tax-free minimum incomes of citizens.
