In Ternopil Polish colleagues share the experience of decentralization
the Meeting of the regional leaders with the Vice-President of the Association of cities of Poland Mr. Tomasz Potkanski and a representative of the Institute Urganda, Krakow Mr. Stanislav Alasaka took place on 11 April at the Ternopil oblast state administration. The Polish side has no intention to create on the territory of Ternopil and Khmelnytsky regions project, in which the presidents of the United territorial communities will attend a series of workshops in Ukraine and Poland will have the opportunity to learn from the Polish experience of decentralization, to get advice on writing community development strategies, plans to improve services. In the Ternopil region selected to participate Shumsk, Skalatska and Podvolochinsk the community. Heads of communities have already held the first two-day seminar in Ternopil, may plan a trip for a week in Poland, June-November: work on community development strategies. Also the purpose of these workshops is the establishment of partnerships at the level of cities and communities.
