Transcarpathian rescuers reminded the children of the Chernobyl disaster and told about rules of conduct in emergency situations
April 11, on the eve of the 30th anniversary of the Chornobyl disaster, and in the framework of the Weeks of knowledge on the basics of life safety in Uzhhorod General educational boarding school with profound studying of separate subjects visited the rescue workers. During the educational hour and a chief specialist of the division for organization of civil defence Management DSNS Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region, Pavlo Voznyuk held a preventive lecture with students of the 9th class. Addressing the meeting, he spoke about the scale of the tragedy and the rescue operations during the liquidation of the Chernobyl accident. Rose’explained, what is radiation, its effects on the human body types of radioactive contamination exist, taught the rules of action in case of any chemical emergency. Next, the employee gschs familiarized participants with the rules of conduct in case of various emergencies. First noted the rules of conduct at detection of explosive devices, broken mercury thermometer poisoning of unknown substances, and the like. During the lesson was lively discussion. Students asked many questions and talked about the situation in which the participants were they or someone they know. And already on April 12, the relay of the Weeks took Mukachevo rescuers. To the 17th state fire and rescue part of the tour came the pupils of the local kindergarten No. 19. In General to look at the work of firefighters came 15 children aged 4-5 years. During the tour, the soldiers of the PRNG-17 showed the kids the fire truck and spoke in detail about its technical equipment. The children carefully considered the hoses and hydraulic tools, and “dessert” tried on some items of equipment of firefighters and was photographed in it on memory’five. With great interest the process was shown not only guys but also girls.
