In Khmelnytsky oblast rescuers a tour of the preschool children
on April 18 began the Week of knowledge on the basics of life safety. The aim of the event is to impart to children from an early age the necessary knowledge of safe behavior. Therefore, on April 19, rescuers have received guests – the pupils of preschool educational establishment No. 4 and conducted an informative tour of the fire and rescue unit. Children were shown fire-fighting equipment, devices for fire extinguishing and the room where in free call time spend their leisure time firefighters. In an interesting, engaging way rescuers told the children how the emergency payments in the case of receiving the signal "Alarm" and that from their quick and concerted actions affect the lives of people, their well-being and tranquility. Also rescuers have demonstrated the guests the rapid deployment of a fire engine to extinguish the fire. At the end of the meeting, the Service employees 101 warned children about the dangers that can guard, namely: careless handling of fire in the home and in the woods, the violation of safety rules on the water and in case of detection of explosive subjects. The children listened with interest, vividly answered the questions, showed a high level of knowledge related to fire protection. The meeting went quickly. In addition to positive impressions and pleasure, the kids received also practical skills and understanding of dangerous situations, and ways of conduct in case of danger. Such events convincingly demonstrates that living and informal communication – the best form of learning the rules of safe living that is much more effective than other forms of training.
