In 2014, Lutsk city Council, jointly with the Nordic environment Finance Corporation, NEFCO has been implemented the project Implementation of energy saving measures in budgetary institutions of the city of Lutsk. Borrowed funds: 4 million USD. Implemented energy saving activities in six institutions in Lutsk city: insulated facades, ETC installed, replaced Windows and doors, conducted the balancing of heating systems and the like. The project was implemented fully. There is a payment of interest on the loan. In 2014, in conjunction with the University of Bologna realized the project "Energy for Eastern mayors". Involved: 23.6 thousand euros of grant funds. The project is funded by the European Commission. In the framework of the project, DOE No. 7 was established ITP, partially replaced Windows and doors. In the framework of cross-border cooperation programme "Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2007-2013" attracted 1 million 826 thousand euros of grant funds. In 2015 completed a number of projects. The project was carried out the following: built the town for the bears with 4 grounds and 2 swimming pools, an observation deck; built the town for the lions with separate enclosures and a viewing platform; replaced entrance gates and the fence of zoo; paved new paths; fortified bridge; installed new lighting system; built the water supply system (which previously was not); video surveillance; a General landscaping of the zoo. Improving the provision of administrative services to the population of cross-border regions by creating a network of centres of providing administrative services (TSPAU). Funds raised: 212,3 thousand euros. Works on the project reconstruction of district heating in Lutsk. It is implemented jointly with the European Bank for reconstruction and development Clean Technology Fund, the Fund Eastern European partnership for energy efficiency and the environment. The loan of EUR 10 million with a grant of 4 million euros. The project involves the installation of ITP, modernization of boiler-houses, installation of a 5 MW biomass boiler, the Installation of a system for remote control and monitoring "SCADA", the repair and replacement of heating networks.
