The investigative Department of Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region announced a suspicion of another employee of the police on the fact of committing complicity in the abuse of power by another police officer
the Investigative Department of the Directorate for investigation of criminal proceedings by investigators of the prosecution, and the procedural management of Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region is carried out pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings on signs of the criminal offense provided by part 2 of article 365 of the criminal code of Ukraine. During a pretrial investigation it is established that an officer of the Vinnytsia Department of the police Main Department of the National police in the Vinnitsa region, with the complicity of another, has exceeded the office powers accompanied by violence. So, at the beginning of December last year, while in the premises of Vinnytsia police Department of the Main Directorate of the National police in Vinnytsia region, one of the police officers inflicted bodily injuries to the victim. And the other COP was forcibly held his hand and stabbed on the leg with the aim to bring the guy out of balance. Then, knocking him to the floor, one of the officers struck the leg in the pelvic part of the body. As a result of illegal actions of the police caused the victim bodily injury which, according to the conclusion is judicial-medical examination belongs to the category of light bodily injuries. Given the above, two police officers of the Vinnytsia police Department GUNP in Vinnytsia region it is declared suspicion in Commission of criminal offenses under part 2 of article 365 and part 5 article 27, part 2 of article 365 of the criminal code of Ukraine, respectively. Now the pretrial investigation proceeds, its course is controlled by the management of Prosecutor's office of area. The responsibility for committing this criminal offence involves the deprivation of liberty for a term from three till eight years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to three years.
