Uzhgorod firefighters together with foresters liquidated a conditional fire in the forest
26 APR in sec. Kam’Anita Uzhgorod district was held fire-tactical exercises on extinguishing forest fires. The event was attended by representatives of the city district Department DSNs and the 14th state fire and rescue unit, as well as employees of the SE "Uzhgorod forestry". The training was aimed at exchange of experience between the rescuers and foresters, coordination between departments in case of occurrence of forest fire and the practical testing scenario of elimination of fire in the forest. On a legend of doctrines, the fire broke out on the outskirts of the forest, and therefore there was a threat of distribution of a flame’I on the trees. First, according to instructions on the CHP responded foresters. With the help of motor pumps and portable fire extinguishers they started the suppression of a conditional fire. Soon they were joined by the soldiers of the PRNG-14 m. Uzhgorod on the same truck. Together they quickly eliminated the fire. Such exercises are conducted on the territory of Uzhgorod district annually. In spring they are extremely relevant, because the ahead – summer fire season that lasts from April to late October. It was at this time increases the probability of occurrence of forest fires, including those caused by the ignition of dry grass. And conducted training will allow foresters and rescuers in disaster situations to act quickly and harmoniously.
