Rescuers SSES of Ukraine caution: careless handling of fire is causing large-scale fires!
According to the Ukrainian hydrometeorological center, on may 5-7, in Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy and Mykolaiv regions will be dominated by high (class 4), sometimes extrem (grade 5) fire danger. In connection with the content of the dry weather on the territory of Ukraine, the State service of Ukraine for emergency situations once again urges citizens to strictly observe the rules of fire safety in close proximity to forested areas and in open areas. After all, most fires in natural ecosystems result from human negligence and carelessness. Large-scale fire can have negative consequences for the environment and for people: cause of the fire buildings, destroying power lines, gas and oil pipelines, forestry plantations. Fires on peatlands, which also often occur due to careless handling of fire, tend to cause considerable public outcry, and their suppression has a long-term nature and requires significant financial and human resources. Dear citizens! Follow the rules of fire safety near forests, in open areas. To avoid fires in ecosystems, consider the following rules: - do not plant a fire in the forest; - try not to smoke in the forest, do not throw cigarette butts on the ground, especially where there is a dry litter; - do not leave soaked with gasoline and other flammable rags; - don't create a dump in the woods and in adjacent areas, especially not incinerate them. Remember that only high culture handling of fire, the observance of fire safety rules will save you from troubles and suffering that bring fires.
