In the Rivne region rescuers taught students the rules of safe activity
Children are at particularly high risk, out of curiosity, they often cause extraordinary events or become their victims. This threatening situation happens, unfortunately, in most cases, the fault of the parents for the ignorance or disregard of elementary safety rules. There is therefore an urgent need to teach children at an early age the rules of conduct in emergency incidents of various nature. With the purpose to reduce the tragic statistics involving children, may 06, staff dubenskogo district sector of the Main Directorate DSNS in Rivne region visited pupils in the village of Bereg, Dubno district. Rescuers in an accessible form taught children how to behave safely at home, how to act in case of fire and in the form of role-play games teach children how to call the fire and rescue service. The students asked many questions about fire safety, of which were the question on how to properly use a fire extinguishers, on what the rescue workers showed the sequence of actions during use of the extinguisher. Special attention was paid to tell children that a match is not something they should play, especially when there are no parents at home. Curious children watched with interest the actions of the men in the form of individual advice and learned from. It should be added that the rescuers of the region willing to cooperate with students and pupils of educational institutions. After all, such a position brings in his subordinates the chief of regional management of the DSNs Colonel civil protection Sergey Kruk. He is convinced that habits are formed in childhood, and adults should use every opportunity that will convince children that the observance of safety rules can save their lives.
