According to the tradition, on may 9 took place the solemn laying of flowers and wreaths to the Glory Memorial and monument to the fallen soldiers of ATO on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the victory over Nazism in the Second world war 1939-1945. The event was attended by the leadership of the region and city, representatives of the structural subdivisions of regional state administration, the world war II veterans, the disabled and children of war, representatives of public veteran organizations, the participants of the antiterrorist operation in the East of Ukraine, the military personnel, the public, residents and visitors of the city. Participants in the rally honored the memory of all who died in the Second world war 1939-1945 a minute of silence. In honor of the 71 th anniversary of the victory over Nazism in the Second world war came the salute of artillery salvos and had a short military parade. During the event on European square was dominated by the Patriotic atmosphere and participants had the opportunity to enjoy military songs, poems and thematic statements. On the same day, the leadership of the region took part in the celebrations in the Vinnytsia regional clinical hospital for war veterans. Gave the hospital medical equipment and wished them health and peace to our state. Also there was held a solemn reception of veterans of war in the Dykanka restaurant.
