may 11, the Ivano-Frankivsk city Council (boardroom 311 KAB.) a meeting was held of representatives of the regional branch of the Association of Cities of Ukraine, departments of Finance and administration investment policy with representatives of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, a diplomat of the economic Department of the Embassy Benjamin Buckley and economical assistant Eugenia Vostro The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize with the process of implementation of fiscal decentralization and the business climate in the city and the region. During the meeting, representatives of the Executive Committee Galina Yatskiv and Igor Popadyuk, and Executive Director of if RO ASU Oleg Voitychuk and the expert on budgetary matters RO Yuri Stepanchuk provided information on the implementation of the reform mrscepoo self-government in Ivano-Frankivsk and region, spoke about the opportunities and perspectives of financial decentralization,gave examples of successful work of the United territorial communities of the region. Focused on the positive aspects of fiscal decentralization that encourages in turn the investment attractiveness of Ivano-Frankivsk.
