may 12, with the assistance of the adviser to the Minister of social policy of Ukraine on internally displaced persons from Crimea and East of Ukraine in Zhytomyr region Maxim Svirsky and operational partners of the UN Commissioner on the rights of refugees in Ukraine was carried out a monitoring mission of the UN with the purpose of acquaintance with the General situation faced by internally displaced persons. During the meeting it was determined the condition of observance of the rights and freedoms of internally displaced persons, their needs. Also, an acquaintance and adjustment of contacts with representatives of the public, bodies of state power and local self-government, whose activities are focused on engagement with internally displaced persons. Maxim Svirsky reminded that the region has "a Programme of social support internally displaced persons from the temporarily occupied territory and districts of carrying out anti-terrorist operation on the territory of Zhytomyr region, military personnel, employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, National guard of Ukraine, security Service of Ukraine, other power structures of the region who participated in the antiterrorist operation in 2016", which provides the tools to: * provide internally displaced persons from the temporarily occupied territory and districts of carrying out anti-terrorist operation cash assistance as such that they are in difficult life circumstances, which allocated funds in the amount of 100.0 thousand USD; * to ensure that internally displaced persons from the temporarily occupied territory and districts of carrying out anti-terrorist operation, conditions of temporary residence in institutions, enterprises and organizations of the region, food as necessary, the implementation of safe and regular transportation of pupils, children education in rural areas, on what the allocated funds in the amount of 1 million UAH. At the present time reimbursement for actual costs incurred to the institutions, enterprises and organizations of the region for food and accommodation of internally displaced persons in the amount of 937,5 thousand UAH.
